This is one of my favorite quotations. The image I used for the female "statue" on the left side of this digital collage is adapted from a Dover Publications book of images for crafters and artists. The book is called "Jacques Stella: Baroque Ornament and Designs." Stella was a French artist who lived from 1596 to 1657 and spent many years of his life in Italy.
