Somerset Studio Magazine!

Yes, it's been almost a year since I posted here. I've missed my online friends!

I've put aside digital art, for the most part, to concentrate on "hands-on" mixed media art in addition to my usual art journaling. One serendipitous result: A collage I created will appear in the new July/August issue of Somerset Studio. The challenge was to create art with a paper doll theme. The issue comes out tomorrow (July 1). The magazine is usually sold at Barnes and Noble, Michael's, Joann, Queen's Ink, etc.

A sneak peek:

Congratulations on being published, Sherry. Your paper doll piece is gorgeous. Unfortunately, Somerset and Stampington magazines are not sold in Australia and, if ordered directly, they take months to arrive. I think they are sent by tramp steamers. It was so good to see your name at the top of my blog roll. We miss you! Once again, if anyone deserves to be published, it's YOU.
Cheers from Marie.
