Take a Word: I am Woman (Hear me Roar!)

I had a lot of fun with this one. I've been pulling up vintage photos from the Library of Congress website and altering them digitally.  For this collage, I altered a grungy and mean-looking photo of a woman (shown below my collage--she was an actress in a theater poster), and this prettier version is what I ended up with. Plus the lion, of course :). It's possible I'm extra-annoyed today because we have no heat in our house and the heating company is not being as efficient about it as we'd like. Translation: we may have to wait until early next week for repair. I'm not quite ready to roar, but close to it.

Lion image from Eena's Creations. Background from Deviant Scrap.

WOW! You made magic with this portrait. She lost her mean look, and your flesh tinting is superb as well. Nice work, Sherry!
