Take a Word: Organic

In this digital collage, I layered and blended a botanical tulip drawing from vintage moth with an original leafy doodle of my own. The original botanical print was in sepia tones with a little yellow; my leafy sketch was in shades of green on a red background. I like the way the colors of my sketch peek through the flowers, and the way my vines provide a delicate, neutral background for the piece. A fun experiment!

This works out well, what a good idea.
I so love your new header too, the flowers and leaves look terrific against the lime patterned background.

Yes! Stunning's the word. A gorgeous take on this week's challenge, Sherry.

I keep forgetting to mention that I love opening your blog because, unlike most of of, you change your headings on a regular basis and I look forward to seeing them. I love your hand-drawn work (and your digital too, of course).
Cheers from Marie.
