Three Muses: Gothic Arch

please click for larger view

We were challenged by Three Muses this week to create a dark-themed piece incorporating a Gothic arch. I don't think I'd want to meet these two ladies under their creepy Gothic arch any evening soon, would you?

Love this! Such a complex design piece, I love the red touches and those glowing flowers (trees?)

your gothic ladies have a truly eerie feel to them. I love the semi-transparent feel of the arches and the bars and the beautiful consistency of your color palette.

I agree, Sherry. I don't think they'd fit in in my social circle!! Great gothic work!

They definitely look a sinister coupe of ladies under their gothic arch. Lots of lovely layers in this gorgeos dark pece.

I love your choice of colors and characters; and, above all, I love the negative effects!

Yes, the spooky ladies are "welcoming" us. The black, white and red colour scheme is terrific and I love your tulip trees (and the bird).
