Take a Word: Memories

Whenever one of the online art challenges has "Memories" as a theme, I delve into my stash of old family photos to do a heritage collage. This is one of my favorites- a cowboy/cowgirl-themed birthday party my mother gave for my sister and me when we were young. I am pretty sure I'm the one on the right. The map background is from last door down the hall.

It's something when even YOU aren't sure which one you are!! This is a lovely piece, and you were quite fetching cowgirls. You sure look like your mother, by the way! Great heritage piece!
