Take a Word: Hearts and Flowers

This theme was chosen because in the southern hemisphere (where some of the creative team is based), spring is coming! Image credits: holliewood, lisa congdon.

Soartful Challenge: Magic Garden

This month's challenge over at Soartful has a "Magic Garden" theme, with colors of fuchsia, lime green, purple, and turquoise. My collage below is a digital one based on my own "hands-on" drawing and painting. I first drew the floral pattern in black and white, scanned it, and filled it with color and my own stamped and stenciled patterns. Such fun!!! Like a coloring book for grownups...

Three Muses: School Days

The main image in this collage was a black and white vintage school scene from Graphics Fairy that I added bright colors and patterns to. The peeled paint background is from grungetextures. Such fun!

Collage Obsession: Gray

This week we were challenged to use shades of gray in our collages. Image credits: Dover, Hero arts.

Sunday Postcard Art: Doors

For this digital collage, I modified a beautiful photo of a door at Versailles (Flickr Creative Commons, moonlightbulb) and created a lady peeking out, from Dover Designs and other sources.
