This was a fun challenge for me! I have a seemingly never-ending supply of family photos, most of them of my twin sister and me growing up. Someday I should make up an album of the digital collages I've created with these photos.
The Queen Mary image shown below (Wikimedia Commons) is from the very early 1960's and was taken in New York Harbor. The texture overlay is by Kim Klassen.

Wonderful collage, Sherry. You look so lovely and brave. The great memories.
Your collages would be such a treasure for your family they are wonderful.
I love when you use your photos, Sherry. This is a treasure!
Hooo, what lovely little girls; and what a strong memory Sherry! Thank you for sharing! :)
Perfect background for your delightful photo, Sherry, a real treasure!
This is drop dead gorgeous, Sherry. I love seeing the twinnies in various settings. What a thrill it must have been for the two of you to visit New York to say goodbye to Grandma. A lovely, nostalgic piece of art.
A wonderful piece of memorabilia Sherry! Gorgeous! xx
This is so nice Sherry, you both look lovely. I like the way you have linked the photo to your picture.
Wonderful collage, Sherry! I love that you used a family photo (I did too!) and how fun that you and your sister got to see the Queen Mary! I did too, in the 1970's, after it was docked in Long Beach, California.

I love it when you show us a little bit about your life, Sherry. This is very special.
I think you and your sister must be twins. You both look proud to be on the Queen Mary - and perhaps wishing you could tag along on the cruise. Lovely collage, and a great idea to collect your family collages into a book 'for posterity'.
