A happy coincidence! Collage Obsession's challenge this week is on the theme of "gardening," and I just finished my summer art project, an altered book with the theme of "My Fantasy Garden." My gardens exist only in my dreams, because I don't have the knowledge, talent, or inclination to create and maintain one of my own. However, in my fantasies, I can have a gorgeous, boldly colored garden with as many exotic birds and butterflies as I want! Below are photos of the cover and the first two pages.
Another coincidence: Yesterday I was invited to see my next-door neighbor Linda's new rain garden, in all its colorful beauty, complete with butterflies and a visiting hummingbird! I've included a photo of her lovely rain garden beneath my altered book photos. Thanks, Linda!
