Take a Word: Roses

Marie, also known as "Ozstuff," is the woman behind the "Take a Word" weekly challenge. In her part of the world, Australia, roses are in full bloom right now. Thus, this week's theme of "Roses."

The woman's face in my digital collage below was created by me, using my graphics tablet and mouse in PSE 10. The roses and frame are from holliewood studios.

    Your lady is gorgeous. Creating eyes is the most difficult thing, and you've given her beautiful eyes to go with her beautiful face. I love the salmon-colored roses too. Beautiful art!

    Painting with a tablet & a mouse is very difficult!
    It's why I admire you a lot Sherry!
    You should have to try the grip pen, it's a bit easier! :)

    To clarify, I used my graphics tablet with the pen that came with it, and later added other touches with the mouse. I'm so used to using the mouse to "paint" that it's a little hard to use only the tablet :).

    Sherry, I always look forward to seeing your hand-drawn art which is so beautiful. The face here is exquisite. For all those who think there are short cuts in digital drawing, think again!! It is actually more difficult than the old fashioned way. Everything about this picture is perfect. Wonderful artwork.
