Take a Word: Butterflies

The woman is my original digitally drawn design; butterflies are by Dover and graphicsfairy; background is from Dover. Butterfly sign is from a photo I took at a butterfly display.

  1. I love this, Sherry. Your digital drawing is perfect. I don't know how to do that or maybe my PSE version doesn't include drawing. I've seen those signs at the botanical garden here. Lovely example.

  2. Sweet! I was in the Butterfly Garden at the Franklin Park Zoo in Boston recently, and saw these signs. It was actually pretty cool and the butterflys were NOT moving.

  6. Love the quote, Sherry. Can't stop chuckling! Before I saw it I thought that I would name your picture "Serenity" because that is the mood it conveys to me. Your hand-drawn woman is wonderful and her butterfly world is exquisite. Fantastic artwork as always.

  8. Beautiful digital work, Sherry. My mouse and my Wacom both produce such erratic lines I'm amazed at those who can draw digitally. I have to do my sketches by hand, then scan them in! This is a beautiful piece. Good work!!!
