"Take a Word" Challenge: Music
I've been experimenting recently with composing images of women to use in my collages. I've combined bits of digital images (hands, feet, faces, etc) from different sources, and added some of my own art, designs, and effects. The lady pictured here is one of the first I created, and she absolutely insisted on being part of my "music" collage. So here she is, ready to dance on New Year's Eve!

Wonderful music collage and great lady!
ReplyDeleteYour lady is really pretty, and her dress is fantastic! She looks so great on that blue background.
ReplyDeleteI love the ruffled skirt! It looks like icing. I'm making a gingerbread house with Ryan today, and icing is a current event.
ReplyDeleteShe is beautiful. Awesome artwork. Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteOh what a wonderful music piece, lovely lady and great colors.

I love the way you peiced together your dancing gal. I never would have know the feet, hands, etc were from all over. Nicely done. And those sheet music stars are a great touch!
ReplyDeleteand what a beauty she is!
ReplyDeleteLovely lady! And such a beautiful picture. I love it. xx
ReplyDeleteSherri, this is what I love doing the most - taking parts from every which way and putting them together to make a person. I love the overlay of petals you have used to make the skirt. The whole effect of your card is elegant and GORGEOUS.
ReplyDeleteI hope 2011 will be a peaceful and happy one for you and your family.
I am ofcourse terribly late. But to my defense I did visit Dolly almost every day.
ReplyDeleteI love the lady you made and the whole picture is so vibrant. Just love it.
Give Dolly a hug from me please!
Fantastic piece of art, love all the details.
