Gelli Plate Printing Workshop in Columbia, MD- Feb. 25

Gelli Plate Prints

As some of you know, I'm leading another Gelli Plate Printing workshop in Columbia, Maryland, on Wednesday, February 25. We'll use simple techniques to print colorful patterns and textures onto paper, using acrylic paints. The paper can be framed as original art; or used for cards, bookmarks, gift tags, decoupage, etc. If you're a beginner, no problem -- it's easy and fun to learn. All class materials are provided.

Take a Word: Hearts

The heart pattern is mine. For the face, I used an image of a woman in a painting from Dover Pictura, and altered it radically in Photoshop Elements (it hardly looks at all like the original image, which is the whole point).
