The challenge this week was to create something with an ocean/beach/nautical theme. I took the challenge literally, as you can see. Background photo (altered) is mine; bathing beauty is from digital collage studio; loving couple is from a Dover Designs poster.

Three Muses: Insects

Today I saw a butterfly bush at my local library.  I hadn't even known it was there. I was sitting in my car, arranging my library books on the seat, and saw some movement out of the corner of my eye. There was a butterfly...then another...then another. I sat there watching for quite a while, seeing more and more little wings the longer I looked. Here's my digital interpretation of what I saw. Butterfly bush image is from google; butterflies are from graphicsfairy. Various PSE effects and filters used.

Three Muses: Where I Live

I live in Columbia, Maryland, which is between Baltimore, MD and Washington DC. It's also not very far from Annapolis, the capital of Maryland. Lots to do and see in this area! I've included some of the museums we like to visit, some of our favorite shopping locations, and some of the activities offered here in Howard County. All images in my digital collage are from the Internet.
