Three Muses: Timepiece
I honestly don't know what my muse was telling me when she guided me in making this digital collage. If anyone has an interpretation to suggest, please share it with us! The main images are from Graphics Fairy.

Take a Word: Wings
This piece is a hybrid of digital and hands-on art. I created the basic sketch of the woman on my new iPad (yay!) in Sketchbook Express, as well as the abstract pattern for the wings. I then combined, altered and embellished the images in Photoshop Elements. The curtains are from holliewood studios, the background lettering behind the curtain from graphicsfairy, and the handwriting image overlaying the curtains is an obsidian dawn digital brush.
Doesn't she look like she's wondering where to fly today? Far away from the approaching storm, I would imagine. Take care, everyone in the U.S. who might be affected. Here in Maryland we're getting ready and hoping for the best...

Collage Obsession: NIGHT
It's my turn again to host the CO weekly challenge. The theme I've chosen is "Night." Please stop by the challenge blog to visit or participate; you'll see some amazing art in a wide variety of styles.

Take a Word: Roses
Marie, also known as "Ozstuff," is the woman behind the "Take a Word" weekly challenge. In her part of the world, Australia, roses are in full bloom right now. Thus, this week's theme of "Roses."
The woman's face in my digital collage below was created by me, using my graphics tablet and mouse in PSE 10. The roses and frame are from holliewood studios.
