Three Muses: Postage Stamps

Our challenge this week was to use a postage stamp image in some way. One of the suggestions was to create a "postage stamp person." I'd never heard of this, but my imagination took hold and this digital collage is what I came up with.  I used a postage stamp image of an exotic young woman from Google Images (shown below), and gave her a pretty setting to relax in and a skirt to match her outfit. Recent Digitalmania Challenges

Every week I participate in a digital art challenge on Flickr run by the energetic and super-creative Marie (Ozstuff) from Australia. We create art in the style of a particular artist.  Most of the artists I am not familiar with. In addition, many of the styles are way outside my comfort zone, so these challenges are often quite a creative stretch for me--which is good! Here are some of my latest pieces. Three Muses: Architecture

For the house in this digital collage, I used a picture from a book of black and white Baltimore rowhouse drawings by J.S. Fuqua.
