Collage Obsession: YOU

We were challenge by CO this week to create a collage about ourselves. The background of my digital collage, below, is a piece of art I created on the iPad. The words read: "There's color in every day." (I believe this!) The big red flower is filled with letterforms I created, based on various fonts, for an art project I did a while ago. And in the center of the flower: my eyes at many ages....inquisitive, alert, a little shy, amused, surprised, amazed, excited, always taking in my surroundings, always drinking in the colors of my world.

Three Muses: Birds

What a happy coincidence! I just finished creating some bird images on my iPad and Photoshop Elements. I'm planning an altered book this summer with a bird/flower theme. They were so excited to be invited to appear on my blog!:) Spiral elements are from PSE; gate image is from Graphics Fairy; background colors/textures are mine.

Collage Obsession: Sisters/Brothers

While looking for photos of my sister and me, or my brother and me, to use in a collage for this challenge, I came across this scan of a page from my first real scrapbooking attempt, in about 2006.  I decided to use it "as is" for this challenge, rather than add digital effects or alterations, since, to me, it's complete the way it is.
