Summer of Color: Baseball Nut

This week's ice-cream-themed challenge is Baseball Nut ice cream, described by Baskin-Robbins as: "A smooth, vanilla flavored ice cream swirled with a black raspberry ribbon and loaded with cashews." Here's an image of it:

Collage Obsession: Inspired by TV or Movies

Years ago, when the TV show "Dallas" was first on the air, my husband and I were addicted to it. Now a new version is being shown here in the US. I can't say it's great (nothing can match the novelty and campiness of the first one), but we've been watching it for old times' sake. My digital collage below is a tribute to the show. This week the Three Muses challenge us to create art that goes "outside the box." In the case of digital art, this means not confining your design to a square or rectangle; i.e., letting the design go outside of the usual frame. Summer of Color 2012: Rainbow Sherbet

"Summer of Color" is starting again! This year the theme is "ice cream colors" (yum). The first week's colors are the colors of rainbow sherbet: bright pinks, oranges, yellows, and a touch of white. So here's my "Rainbow Sherbet Circus" digital collage. Image credits upon request.
