Artist trading cards are 2 1/2" x 3 1/2" works of signed original art that are traded among mixed media artists. Our Artful Journaling class made some to trade with each other; and I liked the small format so much that I made quite a few more. Here are 4 of mine, entitled (clockwise from upper left): Sedona; Fly; The Gift II; and Love.

I just love this online class. I've watched all the videos and now I need to keep practicing and trying to put my own spin on it. Here's my name in "Martha Lever-style" letters.
I'm taking an online class from Martha Lever through the Creative Workshops ning. It's a brush lettering class. I love it! It takes a lot of practice, but I'm loving that too. Here are a few little doodles based on one of the lessons.
I sketched this on the beach, then added watercolor later.
Here's one of the photos taken of us on our vacation to the Outer Banks.
We're going to NYC tomorrow, but my mind is mostly on our Outer Banks trip of the following week. I'm trying not to take my entire art supply stash with me. Here's a "solarized" version of one of the views from our timeshare.
We're heading to NYC again early next week to meet Ryan (!) and some other relatives for lunch at Mr. Broadway, a great kosher deli. Nelson and I will stay over for one night, and do some museum-hopping and other noshing too. Of course I'll keep an eye out for art supply stores...
